DAME SARAH ELIZABETH DAWES-SMYTHE, 97-year-old matriarch of the family, a partner in the Greentree Jewelry Company, and great grand-mother of Samantha Elizabeth Dawes-Smythe has decided, because of her advancing years, to finally pass along her diamond heirloom antique ring to her great granddaughter, Samantha. This ring has been passed down through generations to the first female born in each generation. It originated with a Duchess of Nottingham, England, who is said to have received the ring from a Duke in Barcelona, Spain when she was 12 years old. This party takes place in Dame Sarah's country estate in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. She has asked her great granddaughter to bring along her closest friends and to arrive mid-afternoon for games, supper and the presentation.

Your guests are invited to come in character. Each character has their own special T-shirt iron-on so you can give them a simple costume when they arrive. Decorating your house to look like a mansion is easy with the portraits of your ancestors. Just follow the script in the complete step-by-step instruction booklet and you and your guests are sure to have a unique evening of fun!

A mystery party for 5, 8, or 10 girls, with the assistance of 1 adult and 1 helper. One adult is Dame Sarah (usually the host's Mom), one helper is Marty, the cook/butler and helps keep the party organized and has speaking parts, can be played by an older teen, Dad, or other Mom.

SAMANTHA ELIZABETH DAWES-SMYTHE - You are the much loved 12 year old great granddaughter of Dame Sarah Elizabeth and the recipient, this weekend, of the famed heirloom diamond ring, being the first girl born in the family since Dame Sarah Elizabeth. You are a typical all around, almost teenager, and you like school, sports, music and dancing, not necessarily in that order. Boys are YUK! Your friends call you SAM.
Suggested clothing: jeans, 2 T-shirts, PJ's or nighty. Props: school books, soccer or soft ball, dancing shoes or musical instrument.

ALLISON KATZ - You are Samantha's best friend and next door neighbor. You love dancing, especially ballet, better than school or anything. You think this is going to be a super weekend - staying at a real country estate and sleeping in a real mansion and hope there are some boys in the neighborhood. Your friends call you ALLIE.
Suggested clothing: leotards and tights , PJ's or nighty. Props: ballet shoes.

BARBARELLA DAHL - You are descended from an old aristocratic family and want to become a fashion model more than anything else in the world. You love lots of good and expensive clothes and have more clothes than any of your friends. You also are very vain about your beautiful hair and are always combing or brushing it. You are also excited about the upcoming weekend and look forward to visiting with another member of "royalty". Your friends call you BARBIE.
Suggested clothing: designer clothes - an outfit before games, after dinner, next morning, and nighty. Props: hair brush and mirror.

ANASTASIA OAKLEY - You tend to be a tomboy - having had to put up with three brothers and no sisters. You've been trying to get on the school wrestling and football teams without any success. You'd like your father to sue the school to let you play these sports as you are really a good quarterback, thanks to your oldest brother. You also like poetry and write a fair amount of poetry yourself. Your friends call you ANNIE.
Suggested clothing: football  or wrestling jersey and shorts, and PJ's. Props: football and book of poems.

GEORGETTE WHIZ - You are the most intelligent of your friends - especially in math and computer sciences. You enjoy solving difficult problems and you tutor your friends on Wednesday evenings, over pizza and coke. You are also a coke freak. Your friends call you GEE.
Suggested clothing: jeans, a college T-shirt and sweat shirt, and PJ's. Props: math book and a 6-pack of caffeine-free coke.

THEODORA BAER - Your family is prominent in the financial world, particularly banking. You are a computer wiz like your friend, Gee, and are in the process of creating your own web page to introduce other young people your age to the mysteries of the solar system. Your friends call you TEDDY.
Suggested clothing: jeans, T's and PJ's. Props: books about the solar system.

VIRGINIA SNAPP - Your flair for creating fashion out of nothing has given you an edge with your friends. They are always asking your advice on what to wear for special school events. Your friends call you GINGER
Suggested clothes: clothes you have designed. Props: teen fashion magazines.

CATARINA CUTTER - Architecture is your fort'e. Designing homes and office buildings come naturally to you because your father and grandfather own their own firm. Someday you will undoubtedly work in the same firm. Your friends call you COOKIE.
Suggested clothing: jeans, T's and PJ's. Props: drawings of your dream house, or magazine of house design.

GOLDA LOX - You have recently moved to a different city, but still are best friends with Sam, and the gang. You are in touch daily by e-mail and are involved in all their activities. You are attending a fine art's academy, studying music, dance and drama. Broadway is your dream. Your friends call you GOLDIE.
Suggested clothing: jeans, T's and PJ's. Props: Scripts or sheet music.

BARBARA BATH - You love caring for your friends and others, and you seem to have a healing touch. Everyone tells you that you should consider medicine as a career. Your friends call you BUBBLE.
Suggested clothing: jeans, T's and PJ's. Props: medical journal.

Thanks Lou Anne. The party was a success! We had 6 - 11 and 12 year olds, and they loved every minute of it. They didn't want to stop for cake, or opening gifts! Since we had 6 girls, we used Flossie as an extra. Noone had guessed the culprit, until it was revealed. Thanks again. Great Party! - Diane
Just thought I'd drop a line and say that the Missing Ring party was a success!! The girls loved it and it was quite appropriate for the occasion! Fantastic idea! I have passed your name around to the other mothers in case they are ever in need of party ideas. I love giving feedback to services that I feel are outstanding in their field. This, however, really took the cake (pardon the pun!) I look forward to having other parties in the near future from SimpliFun. Thanks again! -Jill
The party went really well. They seemed to enjoy themselves very much. Thank you for the opportunity to give a print-it party. I enjoyed giving one and may do this again sometime. -Laura
